The gacha system is how you acquire new Illusionists in Illusion Connect Re. Understanding banner types, pull rates, and the pity system is essential for efficient resource spending. This guide covers everything you need to know to maximize your summoning value.

Pity System Explained

The pity system guarantees an SSR within 60 pulls. Soft pity starts at 50 pulls, gradually increasing the SSR rate from 2% to 100% by pull 60. Pity carries over between same-type banners but resets when you pull an SSR. Limited banner pity does NOT carry over to the next limited banner.

Limited banner pity does NOT carry over between limited banners. If you pull 40 times on one limited banner without getting the SSR, those 40 pulls are lost when the banner ends. Always ensure you have enough for a full pity (7,200 Diamonds or 60 tickets) before pulling on limited banners.

Pulling Strategy

  • F2P players: Pull only on limited banners with at least 60 pulls saved. Never pull on the standard banner.
  • Dolphins: Pull on rate-up banners with good value. Skip banners with weak featured units.
  • Whales: Pull on every limited banner for collection. Use our Tier List to decide which rate-ups to max Awaken.
  • All players: Complete the beginner banner first (3% SSR rate, 30-pull pity). It is the best value in the game.

Currency Management

Never convert Diamonds to summon tickets at the shop (it costs the same either way). Save your tickets for standard banner pulls if you want off-banner SSRs, and save Diamonds exclusively for limited banners. Check our Currency Guide for detailed budgeting.

What is the best banner type for new players?
The Beginner Banner (20 free pulls + 3% SSR rate) is by far the best value. Complete it as soon as possible.
Does pity carry over between banners?
Pity carries over within the same banner type but resets when you pull an SSR. Limited banner pity does not carry over to future limited banners.
How many Diamonds do I need for a guaranteed SSR on a limited banner?
7,200 Diamonds (60 pulls at 120 Diamonds each) guarantees an SSR. You may get it earlier, but always have this amount saved before pulling.
